City: Trinidad

This kind of city-museum was founded in 1514 by Spaniards and located between the sea and mountains. It was declared Humanity’s heritage by UNESCO in 1988. Trinidad is considered an architectural jewel. It also has natural places that makes of it one of the most traditional and welcoming places for visitors. Among them are the Manaca-Iznaga tower, located in the area where one of the most influencing families of the area made its fortune, the monumental Valle de los Ingenios, the beaches, the Topes de Collante Mountains, and also the art and crafts traditions characterizing the small city. Trinidad is located to the South-central area of Cuba on the mountain sides of the Escambray mountain range.
